Agreement
By using VaultBase Cloud, you agree to these terms. The VaultBase editor and self-hosted server are provided under the AGPL-3.0 license and are governed by that license, not these terms.
Service
VaultBase Cloud provides hosted vault sync, RBAC, MCP access, search, and decision trace services. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA on non-Enterprise plans.
Your data
You own your data. VaultBase stores it to provide the service. You can export your complete vault at any time as plain markdown files. We do not claim any rights to your content.
Billing
- Plans are billed monthly via Stripe
- Storage add-ons are billed monthly
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal
- Upon cancellation, you have a 30-day grace period to export your data
- Refunds are not provided for partial months
Acceptable use
Do not use VaultBase Cloud to:
- Store or distribute illegal content
- Attempt to access other tenants' data
- Circumvent storage or user limits
- Resell the service without agreement
Limitation of liability
VaultBase is provided "as is." We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or damages arising from use of the service. We recommend maintaining your own backups of critical vault content.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
